      I'm trying out some new examples using OpenGL ES Shading Language (GLSL) shaders with libGDX and I'm getting some unexpected results when using GL20.glUniformMatrix*. I'm using GL20.glUniformMatrix* with GL11.GL_FALSE as the last parameter but it seems like it isn't setting my matrices correctly unless I use GL11.GL_TRUE as that last parameter (I'm not using any transposed matrices). My code looks something like this :

      // ... code omitted

      // Set up projection matrix
      float aspectRatio = Gdx.graphics.getHeight() / Gdx.graphics.getWidth();
      float projectionMatrix[] = new float[16];
      Matrix.perspectiveM(projectionMatrix,
                          /* offset */0,
                          /* FOV */70,
                          /* near */0f,
                          /* far */100f,
                          /* left */-aspectRatio,
                          /* right */aspectRatio,
                          /* bottom */-1f,
                          /* top */1f);
      GL20.glUniformMatrix(projectionMatrix.length / Float.SIZE,
                           GL11.GL_FALSE,
                           false,
                           projectionMatrix);

      // Set up modelview matrix (identity)
      float modelviewMatrix[] = new float[16];
      Matrix.setIdentityM(modelviewMatrix,
                          /* offset */0);
      GL20.glUniformMatrix(modelviewMatrix.length / Float.SIZE,
                           GL11.GL_FALSE,
                           false,
                           modelviewMatrix);

      // ... more code omitted

      // Set up shader program (using libGDX)
      GL20.glUseProgram(shaderProgram);

      // ... more code omitted

      // Render stuff using shader program

      // ... more code omitted

      GL20.glUseProgram(0);
      GL20.glDisableVertexAttribArray(0);
      GL20.glDisableVertexAttribArray(1);
      GL20.glBindBuffer(GL20.GL_ARRAY_BUFFER,0);
      GL20.glBindBuffer(GL20.GL_ELEMENT_ARRAY_BUFFER,0);

      // ... more code omitted

      I've also tried doing things like calling GL11.glLoadIdentity() before setting up my matrices but it doesn't seem like that affects anything either way (maybe because I'm not using GL11?). I'm new at all this so maybe I'm just misunderstanding how uniform variables work. Thanks!

      Edit : I've posted my full source code here : https://github.com/pierreguillot/libgdx-test/blob/master/src/com/pierreguillot/libgdxtest/TestRenderer.java#L106-L179 . The problem only occurs when I try rendering my modelview matrix; everything works fine if I don't include it (which means that my modelview matrix isn't being set correctly).
